This Strawberry Cream Smoothie is so thick and creamy, you'll swear it's a milkshake! It's made with only 4 natural ingredients and not one of them is refined sugar or dairy. Although it can be enjoyed any time of day, it's so decadent we like it as a dessert in our house. Vegan, gluten-free, non-dairy, no sugar and oh-so-yummy ~ a must try! 

 

Ingredients:

 

1/2 banana

3/4 cup sliced frozen strawberries (or fresh if they're in season)

1/2 cup coconut water

1/2 cup coconut cream*

 

Directions:

 

Place all ingredients in a blender and blend until smooth.

 

* Use full fat coconut cream from a can (BPA free) for best results. You can substitute coconut milk for coconut cream and omit the coconut water, however your smoothie won't be nearly as rich and creamy tasting. If you do substitute, use 1 cup coconut milk.
