This creamy fruit smoothie is easy to make and oh-so-yummy! I enjoy it for breakfast or sometimes as a mid-morning snack. The addition of Greek yogurt not only adds protein to this smoothie, it also makes it rich and creamy. If you prefer a colder smoothie, add some ice to it as well.
Ingredients:
1 banana
½ cup frozen berries (blueberries, strawberries or raspberries all work well)
½ cup plain Greek yogurt
1 cup (unsweetened) almond milk
3 Tbsp hemp hearts
2 tsp cacao nibs* (optional)
Directions:
Place all ingredients in a blender until smooth and enjoy!
Makes 1 serving.
*The cacao nibs give a nice hint of chocolate flavor. With or without them, this smoothie is delish!
