Berry Blast Wheatgrass Smoothie ~
The combination of berries, wheatgrass and spinach make this smoothie an antioxidant superstar! Add in the health benefits and protein from the cashews and chia seeds, and this smoothie makes a fantastic breakfast. Berry Blast Wheatgrass Smoothie is a healthy, satisfying way to start the day.
Ingredients:
3 cups mixed frozen berries*
1 cup fresh or frozen spinach
1 Tbsp wheatgrass powder**
3 cups water
1/2 cup raw cashews
2 Tbsp chia seeds
Directions:
Place everything in a blender and blend until smooth. Makes 2 servings.

** Wheatgrass is known for its distinctive flavour which isn't loved by all. However, you can't taste it in this wheatgrass smoothie with the blast of sweet flavour from the berries.
