Enjoy a Walk Outside ~ Your body requires movement on a daily basis to remain healthy. You likely already know this, yet are you actually doing it? It's a Small Thing to enjoy a 20-30 min. walk and it contributes tremendously to your health and well-being in all areas; Mind, Body and Spirit. Specifically when you enjoy a walk in nature. Studies have long shown the benefits that walking in nature provides. It helps clear your mind, strengthen your bones, improve your mood and stimulate creative thinking. It's also very effective at reducing stress and depression. All this, and you may even reduce your weight at the same time!
So what are you waiting for? Put on a pair of good walking shoes, ask your partner, child or a friend to join you if you'd like some company, and get outside! Find a beautiful space in nature and Enjoy a Walk Outside everyday. It's our Small Thing for this month.
