These chocolates are a family favorite. Made with only 3 natural ingredients, they're super easy to make and much healthier than conventional chocolate! I like to use molds to make chocolates that suit the season and sometimes I add raisins or crushed walnuts for something different.

1/2 cup coconut oil, melted

1/2 cup cacao powder

4 Tbsp pure maple syrup*

Combine all ingredients until well blended and pour into chocolate molds.

Place molds in the fridge for one hour to set the chocolates, then remove chocolates from the molds.

Store in the fridge.

*If your maple syrup is cold it will start to solidify the coconut oil. If this happens you can put the mixture in the microwave for a few seconds to re-melt the coconut oil. Or, you can measure the maple syrup and leave it on the counter for a short time (about 15 min is good) before adding it to the mixture, this gives it a chance to warm up a bit.
