Although I love apples year-round, fall is when I particularly crave this delicious, crunchy fruit. With so many varieties of apples in season at this time of year, I decided to share a few of my favorite ways to snack on this healthy treat. With all the wonderful things you can do with apples, choosing only a few wasn't easy!

ALMOND BUTTER APPLE WHEELS

This is a snack I enjoy a few times a week. It's super easy to prepare and the almond butter adds protein and healthy fats.

Almond Butter

  • Core the apple. Then use a knife to put the almond butter inside the apple where the core was until the space is full.
  • Slice apple into 1/4-inch - 1/2-inch slices and enjoy!

Note:  You can use any nut butter that you like, I prefer almond butter best for its taste and incredible health benefits.

APPLES AND CINNAMON

Fall literally isn't the same without eating apples OR cinnamon, and they go together so beautifully! Here's 2 super easy ways to enjoy a delicious apple topped with cinnamon.
